# Melix

> Melix is a macOS-native local AI runtime for Apple Silicon. It helps developers serve local models, tune LoRA adapters, benchmark Apple Silicon runs, and evaluate model outputs on their Mac.

Melix is intended for local-first AI builders who want concrete model workflows on Apple Silicon: model serving, LoRA adapter workflows, local performance benchmarking, and evaluation runs. The product is currently alpha software.
